Deborah Sue Williams

Deborah Sue Williams, 73 of Amherst, also known as Debbie, passed away Monday, March 9, 2026, at Lynchburg General Hospital.

Deborah graduated from Amherst High School and was previously employed at Lynchburg Training Center for many years.

Deborah was the daughter of the late Eva (Zinni) Wilson Williams of Massachusetts & Charles Williams of Madison Heights. Deborah was also preceded in death by many aunts and uncles that were very dear to her.

Deborah is survived by a brother Charles Williams Jr. of Massachusetts, as well as a nephew and many cousins and friends.

Deborah had a passion for all animals and cared for many throughout her life.

Deborah (Debbie) will be deeply missed, loved and forever remembered.
