Deborah Denise Mott

Deborah Denise Mott, 66, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on June 15, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Frank Darby and Alice Carter.

Deborah was born on July 25th, in Lynchburg, Virginia. She was an Operations Manager at Alex Renew Wastewater Treatment Facility for 25 years until 2013.

Deborah was a member of Immanuel Bible Church in Springfield Virginia and enjoyed reading the Bible, her family and grandchildren, music, caring for her many plants, putting together flower/center piece arrangements, cleaning, enjoying the beauty of the Lord’s creation, sending encouraging text messages and images to all of her contacts, doing laundry, and more than anything, giving thanks and praise to her Lord and Savoir Jesus Christ.

Deborah is survived by her Husband, Carl Mott; Children, Katrina (Israel) and Jannie; Grandchildren, Dekiem, Chiquira, DeAndre, D’Adonai, Dmyricle, Devine, Deneah, Neriah, Ezekiah, and Elijah; Great Grandchildren: Zaniyah, Michah, Faith and Wisdom; Siblings-Brothers: her darling brother, Anthony (Francine), Gerard and Michael, Sisters: Ronshellta (Robert), and Sonya; Beloved Aunts/Uncles: Harriet, Lettie, Katie, Golden, John, and Russell; Cousins: Kenny, Terri, Dale, Ritchie, Alexis and many more: Nieces: Gabrielle, Shaina, Kiana and many more nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Deborah is preceded in death by her beloved son Demetrius Mott.

A celebration of Deborah's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Faith Redemption Church 1955 Blackwater Road Forest, VA.
