David Wayne Hudson

David Wayne Hudson, 77 of Lynchburg passed away peacefully in his residence surrounded by his son and 2 granddaughters. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Gladys Hudson. 

He was a graduate of E C Glass High School class of 1967 and spent most of his career in men’s retail clothing in Richmond and Lynchburg. He was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and a huge fan of Tom Brady. David loved listening to Bob Seger and he always had butterscotch candy in his pocket. He loved his dogs Lukie and Reuben. David was a follower of CHRIST and attended Thomas Road Baptist Church after a lifelong membership of Euclid Baptist Church. 

Surviving are a son and daughter in law, W. Tracey Hudson and Kelly Hudson of Jamestown Rhode Island; Grandson: Austin Whitmore(Whit) Hudson; Granddaughters: Hannah Shea Hudson; Adrianna Jessie Hudson; Great Grandson: Dakota Kai Hudson all of Virginia Beach Va. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
