David James Henderson

David James Henderson (D.J.), 21, of Wirtz, Va passed away on August 9, 2025.

David was born on September 28, 2003, in Roanoke, Va, to Lara Henderson.

David is survived by his loving brother Jacob Henderson. Mother Lara Henderson. Grandparents Jim & Cindi MacPherson. Uncle Chris MacPherson. Aunt Jammie MacPherson. Cousins, Madison MacPherson, Caylee MacPherson and Clark MacPherson. His good friend Jack Howard.

David loved helping others and touched countless lives with his kindness, laughter and caring spirit. He loved video games and was very knowledgeable with any electronic device. He loved airsoft and hiking. He enjoyed R.O.T. C. in high school.

David will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The funeral will be a private ceremony, remembering David in the presence of close family.
