Danita Cabell

Danita Eyvette Cabell, 58 of Amherst, VA departed this life July 6th, 2025.

Born February 17th, 1967 to the late Floyd William Cabell, Sr. She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Bernard and Mary Chilton; paternal grandparents William and Mattie Cabell; five uncles Wilson Jones, Bernard Chilton, Jr., Cleon Chilton, Raymond Cabell, and Allen Cabell; one aunt Clarese Chilton.

She is survived by her mother Mary Cardwell (Theodore), one daughter Kendra Cabell; three grandchildren who she absolutely adored, Kennedy, Kaleb, and Kyleigh; two sisters Barbie McNair (Robbie) and Cynthia Cabell; two brothers Floyd “Billy” Cabell (Tammy) and Mark Cabell; one aunt Phyllis Cabell. A host of other relatives, loved ones, and friends.

She was a member of Bolling Hill Baptist Church.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of her brother Billy.

A funeral service will be held July 11th, 2025 at 1:00pm Bolling Hill Baptist Church Pastor Lucy Barnett, Eulogist. Interment Bolling Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home Chapel, Madison Heights, Virginia.

Danita's family kindly requests for anyone attending the service to wear any shade of the color purple.
