Daion Jamane Williams, 20, of Lynchburg, fell asleep in death on Friday, September 15, 2017. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Phyllis Abbitt.
Daion was born in Lynchburg on October 10, 1996, to Jamane Abbitt and Lettissia Oneal Williams.
Along with his parents, Daion is survived by his daughter, Aniya Williams; his sister, Anaya Williams; two brothers, Ken’yon Abbitt and Ja’mier Abbitt; his grandparents, Gail Paige (Kerrie) and Earnest Abbitt; two aunts, Jessica Horsley (Carl) and Rachel Croner; two uncles, Dion Abbitt and Corey Abbitt; a special cousin, Shanta Calloway; and a host of other aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at Peaceful Baptist Church. His remains will lie in repose one hour prior to the service.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
