Curtis Barrow Moore, Jr., 83, of Lynchburg died Saturday, May 18, 2019.
He was a lifelong resident of Lynchburg, born on June 8, 1935, he was a son of the late Curtis B. Moore, Sr. and Nellie Brown Moore. Curtis was a member of Providence Methodist Church and a graduate of Lynchburg College.
Curtis was preceded in death by his wife, Daphine Smith Moore, and infant son, Curtis Barrow Moore III.
He is survived by his sons, Barry (Jennifer), and Richard Moore; six grandchildren; one great grandchild, and his sister, Alice Hillsgrove.
Curtis was a gentle selfless man and will be missed.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 25, 2019 at Providence Methodist Church at 12 noon with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
