Connie Frances Coles

Connie F. Coles departed this life on Friday, August 10, 2026, at her residence. She was born in Bedford, Virginia, on August 28, 1961, to the late Israel and Eula Frances Coles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Mable Brown, and William and Catherine Coles.

Connie joined Otterville Baptist Church, where she was a faithful member of the Gospel Chorus and served on the Hospitality Ministry. She graduated from Liberty High School and was previously employed by the Residence Inn by Marriott in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Those left to cherish her precious memories include her sons, Terrell Coles, and Travis Coles; her brothers, William “Billy” Coles (Cheryl), Donald Coles (Janice), and Michael Coles (Joyce); and her sister, Ramona Coles. She is also survived by her uncles, Roger Coles, Nathaniel Coles, John Coles, Charles Brown, and Glen Jackson Sr.; her aunts, Betty Jackson, Nearlean Tanner, Geraldine B. Spinner, and Gloria Brown; her devoted nephew, Isaiah Coles; and her devoted niece, Natasha Parker. Connie also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory and cherish the love and kindness she shared throughout her life.

A service celebrating Connie’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Otterville Baptist Church.
