Clarence Meadows, Jr.

Clarence Meadows Jr., 68, of Bedford, Virginia passed away on May 10th of 2026. He was the son of Clarence Meadows Sr. and Dorothy Lee Younger.

Clarence Meadows Jr. was born on February 6th 1958, in Lynchburg Va, to Clarence Meadows Sr. and Dorothy Younger.

Clarence is remembered as a man of warmth, a true extrovert who never met a stranger. He was married to his beloved wife Shirley for nearly 40 years. He built a life centered on music, family, friends, and a few of Star Trek and Classic western marathons. He held a special fondness for his daughter’s dog, Teddy, who brought him much joy and companionship. Clarence’s life was guided by kindness, and a deep commitment to those he held dear. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Clarence is survived by his wife, Shirley; Daughter, Jennifer; His father Clarence Meadows Sr; his siblings, Kathy Meadows; Martha Calloway; Wanda Meadows and many loving family and friends in the community.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday May 23rd 2026, at 1:00pm at Antioch Baptist Church (Peaksville) with Pastor Scotty Craft officiating.
