Christopher James Waechter, 45, of Lynchburg passed on April 4, 2019, after battling cancer, with his wife Crystal G. Waechter, and son, Phillip M. Waechter by his side.
Born Monday, November 12, 1973 in, Weehawken NJ, Chris was a son of the late James John Waechter and Patricia Coffari Mayberry and her husband, John.
In addition to his wife and mother, Chris is survived by brothers, Daniel and his wife, Tracy and Michael Waechter, and his seven children, Phillip Waechter and his wife, Ashton, Laura, Benjamin, Patrick, Jacob, Jesse, and Lisa-Marie Waechter, and a grandson, Phillip Waechter, Jr.
Chris was a dedicated 4th degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. He was very dedicated to his children.
A celebration of Chris’s life will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at Holy Cross Catholic Church with Msgr. Father Rush officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tharp Funeral Home, to help with funeral expenses.
Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
