Christine Robinson

Christine Noell Robinson, 79, of Lynchburg, Virginia was peacefully called home to be with the Lord on March 6, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones. Christine was born May 27, 1946, to the late Fred and Annie Noell. She was a graduate of Susie G. Gibson High School. Christine loved to shop, sit on the porch and "people watch.” She also had a "green thumb" and loved to care for her plants.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wesley W. Robinson, her twin sister, Florine Noell and brother, Robert Noell.

She is survived by her three loving sons, Thomas Robinson (Kathy), Christopher Robinson (Catherine), and Gary Robinson Sr. (Lisa). She also leaves behind five grandchildren, Keyanna, Ke’Asia, Kahlil, DeVante’ and Gary Jr; six bonus grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, one devoted brother Fred Noell (Linda), one sister, Hazel Reid; two special friends Lorraine and Bernice along with a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.

Above all else, Christine was a devoted mother whose greatest joy was her family. Her love, guidance and quiet strength, shaped the lives of those she cherished. Though she will be deeply missed, her kindness, wisdom and unwavering devotion will live on in the hearts of her children and all who were blessed to know her.

The family will be receiving family and friends beginning Sunday, March 8, 2026 through Friday, March 13, 2026 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at 109 Nester Lane, Lynchburg.

A celebration of Christine's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
