Chris Cofer, 45, of Lynchburg, died Monday, September 18, 2017, after a long life of illness.
Born in Lynchburg on July 4, 1972, he was a son of Wanda and Wayne St. John, Sr. and Thomas and Nancy Cofer.
In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his son Jamie Goin; his sisters, Brandy Jackson, Dawn Keesee, Sarah Cofer; his brothers, Wayne St. John, Jr. and J.T Cofer; his nieces, Sydney Mann, Jaelyn Jackson, Katelyn St. John, and Kelsey St. John; and his nephews Devon Watts and Avery Keesee.
Chris was an avid fan of the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Cubs and WWE wrestling.
A visitation for Chris will be held at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg on Thursday, September 21, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of Virginias, 2601 Willard Road, Richmond, VA 23286.Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Lynchburg, is assisting the family.
