Cecil Fitzgerald "Hoghead” , 78, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on August 20, 2025. He was born on September 23, 1946 to the late Clyde Fitzgerald and Lula Bryant Fitzgerald.
He served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and had a strong faith in God.
Aside from his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Norma Fitzgerald.
He is survived by his sons; Robert Fitzgerald, Joseph Fitzgerald, Chris Fitzgerald, and Paul Fitzgerald; stepson, Chris Carrico; sisters, Elsie Frazier and Francis Harmon; along with a surplus of other family.
A visitation will be held on Monday, September 8, 2025 from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm at Tharp Funeral Home located at 220 Breezewood Drive Lynchburg, VA 24502.
Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg is assisting the family.
