Carol Allyn Padgett

Carol Allyn Padgett, 65, of Lynchburg passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Carol was born in Bedford County, Virginia on August 23, 1959, a daughter of the late Harry Raymond Dunford and Jacqueline Harvey Dunford. Carol retired from Campbell County Social Services where she worked as a social worker in the Foster Care program. She enjoyed a simple life filled with music, family, and laughter. She loved artwork and loved to draw. She also loved all animals, especially dogs.

She is survived by her two children: Hannah Padgett of Richmond, and Tom Padgett of Lynchburg, one granddaughter Kyleigh Padgett, three sisters: Beverly Dunford, Laurie Dunford, and Kimberly Dunford.

The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
