Carol Yvette Miller

Carol Miller, age 61, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Tate Springs Health and Rehabilitation in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Carol was born on August 12, 1964, to Catherine Gills Miller and the late Claude Miller, Jr. She was a "people person" and made friends wherever she went. Although she battled illness throughout her adult life, she maintained her wittiness, keen memory, and unforgettable sense of humor. Anyone who knew Carol knew that she found delight in good food, singing, listening to music, fashion, and expressing love for her family. Most importantly, she never wavered in her love for the Lord, and she found comfort and peace in Him to the very end.

Carol is survived by her devoted mother, Catherine; sisters, Yolanda Miller and Florence Sandidge (Cornell); a nephew, Evan; nieces, Catherine and Allorie; and numerous cousins.

She will be forever loved and remembered by her family. Though her presence will be sadly missed, we are comforted knowing that she is with the Lord now, renewed in eternal life and at peace.
