Carl P. Miller

Carl P. Miller, 75, of Lynchburg Virginia transitioned September 20, 2025. He was the son of the late Aubrey Sr and Josephine Miller, both of Lynchburg Virginia. He was born on August, 19,1950. He served in the Marines and was a devoted truck driver, for over 40 years, until he retired due to illness.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Miller of 39 years and his two daughters Tammatha Strong (Ellis) and Dahlila Watkins. Five grandchildren, Kiara’ Morton, Khaleeqa Williams (Tywone), Sadiya, Zanaya, and Ellis Jr. Strong; five great-grandchildren, one sister, Marilyn Fisher (Late Joe); his two brothers, Aubrey Miller Jr (Glo) and Greg Miller; one sister in-law Shirley Morris ( Late Arnold); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends who will cherish his memory forever.

In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Ollie Watkins, one grandson, Richard Broggin III; his two brothers, Kent and Glenn Miller; sister in-law's, Paula Miller and Erma Watkins and one nephew Sean Fisher.

Carl was a family man and he always put God and family first!

We would like to thank 1st Care Home Health & Comfort Care Lynchburg General Hospital. His legacy of love faith and family will live on in our hearts forever.

A Celebration of life will be held at Altha Grove Baptist church at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Carl will lie in repose, one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service at the church cemetery.
