Carl Stevens Martin

Carl Stevens Martin, 82, of Lynchburg, passed away Thursday, November 20, 2025. He was the loving fiancé of Phyllis Kerr of Forest.

Carl was born in Bedford County, Virginia, on April 30, 1943, a son of the late Peyton Manson Martin and Carrie Mae Martin. Carl honorably served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of the American Legion Post #16, and both local Moose Lodges in Lynchburg where he held the Fellowship Degree of Honor. He was retired as a talented construction and repair technician who could fix anything.

In addition to his fiancée Phyllis, he is survived by his two brothers Earnest Martin of Lynchburg and Phillip Martin of Lynchburg, and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
