Calude Junior Robinson

2nd Corinthians 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight

On Tuesday, September 2, 2025, Claude J. Robinson, Jr. passed onto his eternal resting place at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was born May 29, 1957, in Lynchburg, Virginia to the late Claude Robinson (Butch) and Rosetta Robinson.

Aside from his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Rhonda Davis Robinson; siblings, Salley Crawley and Dan Robinson; aunts and uncles, Serena, Carol, Shirley, Gladys Mosley, George Culpeper, Theodore, Roosevelt, James Mosley, Nellie Hubbard, May Lambert, and Margret Stanley; his niece, Angela Brown; his nephew, Mark Robinson; and his great-great nephew Ky’Eir Amir Waller.

He leaves to cherish his memory with his sons, Anthony Smith (Keshia) and Dewayne Davis; siblings, Rosa, Henry Robinson (Patricia) and Lionel Smith (Kacey); sister in law, Daine Davis; grandchild, Antwoine Smith; devoted niece and caretaker, Cathy Robinson; nephews, Gregory and Jerome Brown; and devoted friends, Joyce Byrd, Devante Taliaferro, Devante Morrison, Kendall Bailey, and Daniel Lee; along with a host of other nieces, nephews, and family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
