Billy Reid Wood, 84, passed away on September 18, 2026, in Bedford, Va. Born on December 19, 1941, Billy was known for his deep devotion to his faith and his exceptional skills as a furniture maker and woodworker.

Billy's commitment to his religion was evident in every aspect of his life, and he was a caring brother and uncle. He is survived by his sister, Helen Croft; brother, Gerald Wood; nephews, James Croft and Brian Wood; nieces, Kristi and Kim Wood; and grand niece, Cecilia Dalton.

A graveside service will be held on November 2nd at Sucks Springs Baptist Church cemetery at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sucks Springs Baptist Church, honoring Billy's commitment to his faith and community.
