Billy Gray Johnson

Billy Johnson, 71, of Lynchburg, Virginia passed away on July 9, 2026. He was the son of the late James Johnson and Martha Johnson.

Billy was born on January 29, 1955, in Lynchburg, Va. He worked for many years with Griffin Pipe. Billy enjoyed hunting, riding motorcycles and working on his tractor.

Billy is survived by his children, Sherry Shuford, James, Jason, Coty, Mariah and Micheal Johnson; numerous grandchildren, one sister, Betty Harrison, one brother and caretaker, Carl Johnson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Billy is preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Jean and Elsie Johnson.

In honoring Billy's wishes no services will be held.
