Beverly Lee Moon Bagby

Beverly Moon Bagby, 66, went to be with her lord and savior, on Tuesday, January 26, 2021. She was born July 29, 1954, to Cassie & Draple Moon. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Jerry L. Bagby.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Crystal Bagby, and granddaughter, Savannah; her stepchildren, Edwina Landers (Wade) and Greg Bagby; her sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn & Phillip Tinsley; her nieces, Margaret Coussa (Michael) and Megan Tinsley; and her great nieces and nephew, Hailey Tinsley, Kaitlynn Coussa, and Michael Coussa.

Beverly was an extraordinarily loving and supportive mother and was over the moon when she became a “Gabby” to Savannah.

She was an independent, intelligent, strong-willed woman and knew how to handle every situation with poise and grace. She will be remembered for her dedication and loyalty to her family and friends; her generosity and always putting others first; her love for the ocean and good seafood; and her profound affection for animals.

Beverly Bagby, Bev, Mom, Gabby – you will be missed dearly, and we look forward to the day we will see you again.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 4, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. at Pate Chapel, Thomas Road Baptist Church. Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Lynchburg Humane Society in Beverly’s name.
