Mr. Ben Alton Beverley, Jr., departed his life peacefully at his home and entered into eternal rest on Saturday, June 21, 2025. He was the son of the late Ben Alton Beverley, Sr. and Jean Mae Anderson and raised by Haywood and Matrice Anderson, also known as Mae. In addition to his parents, Ben was preceded in death by one brother, Gregory Smith.

Ben was baptized at an early age and was a member of New Dearington Baptist Church, Lynchburg, Virginia. He remained faithful in service and on duty as an usher.
