B. Blair Brooks
B. Blair Brooks, 88, of Cocoa, Florida, passed away April 9, 2013. He was a 1950 graduate of Virginia Tech and a construction engineer for 35 years with Sherlock, Smith and Adams in Montgomery, Alabama. He was a WWII veteran, having served in the US Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of sixty-five years, Lucy Key Brooks; daughter, Sharon Brooks Maslin of Rockledge; one grandson, and two great-grandchildren. Blair enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling.
The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 pm, Monday, April 15, 2013 at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford. Interment will be private. Arrangements by Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory, Bedford, (540)-586-3443.
