Arthur Brodie Clark (Art) passed away Friday, August 30,2024. He was born on July 11, 1935 in Fremont, New Hampshire, a son of the late Leslie and Eva Clark. 

He was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Florence and Earl Turner and nephew. 

Art is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Maddox Clark, a sister, Marie Clark Nelson, two daughters, Melanie Aschenbrenner (Ken), Belinda Scamporino (Steve), two grandchildren and a great grandchild. Also surviving are a nephew Bruce Turner(Penny), a niece Ann Rose and several great nieces and nephews.

Art retired from General Electric/Ericson after forty years of service as a manufacturing engineer. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of New Hampshire, a master's degree from Lynchburg College and his engineering degree from George Washington University.

Art was an active member of Peakland United Methodist Church and a former member of the Lynchburg Rotary Club.

Graveside services will be conducted by The Reverend Joseph Cailles on Monday, September 9th at 2:00 P.M. at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
