Arianne Couch

Arianne Vanessa Couch (Jasmine Christiana Dillard), 20, of Amherst, Va passed away on July 18, 2025. She was the daughter of Jerron Costello Dillard, Sr. and Melanie Carter Stalworth.

Arianne was born on December 11, 2004, in Lynchburg, Va. She attended school in Altavista and then graduated from Amherst County High School. She was currently enrolled at CVCC where she was studying to become a social worker because of her love for children. As for her career she was currently working for Kia of Lynchburg and loved all of her coworkers.

Arianne was a member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her adored dog Gambino. She loved being a dog mom and was so proud of it. She also loved spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Arianne is survived by her adoptive mother, Sadie Couch; beloved brother, DJ (JR); beloved sisters, Aalaina Carter and Aaliyah Perkins; Grammy, Lucy Carter; her Grandma, Jernine Dillard; Uncle, Jason Dillard; her favorite "Aunt" Monica McDaniel; Great Aunt, Iris Taylor and many other loving family and friends in the community.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Amherst County Humane Society in honor of her love for animals.

The family will be receiving family and friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Tharp Funeral Home, Lynchburg.
