Ardie Ray Thomas

Ardie "Buddy" R. Thomas Jr., 67, of Forest, VA, passed away on July 17th, 2025, peacefully in his sleep.

Ardie R. Thomas Jr. was born in Amherst, VA on May 28th, 1958.

Ardie was married to Beverly C. Thomas and worked at R.R. Donnelly in shipping and receiving until he retired.

Ardie was a member and secretary of the Wonder Club whom he loved so dearly.

Ardie is survived by two children, Brandon Thomas of Madison Heights, VA and Ashlee Thomas of Charlotte, NC; his five grandchildren, Alyssa, Aidan, Kayden, Adalyn and Kalia; one sister, Bridgette Thomas, and one brother, Otis Thomas, both of Madison Heights, VA and a host of many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Thomas; his parents, Dorothy and Ardie R. Thomas Sr.; and his sister, Joanne Lewis.

The family of Ardie Thomas would like to thank all of his friends and family who were there for him over the years. He will truly be missed.

A funeral service will be held at 11AM on July 31st at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. Reverend Carlton Jackson will be officiating.
