Anthony Brian Caudle, 53, of Montvale, passed away at his home on Friday, September 11, 2026. He was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on July 20, 1973, a son of Stephen Caudle and the late Barbara McCreary.

Anthony was a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. Family meant everything to him, and he loved nothing more than spending time with the people he cared about and the people who cared about him.

Anthony was a board member of the Montvale Recreation Club and volunteered to help with events. He loved being involved with his neighbors and helping others whenever he could. Anthony also enjoyed his work and especially the time he spent with his work crews at Roanoke Asplundh and the Roanoke City Forestry Department.

Anthony was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara McCreary, and his step-daughter, Jessica Hart.

In addition to his father, Anthony is survived by his wife, Denise Lukehart Caudle; son, Logan Caudle; daughters, Jennifer Caudle, Jessica Caudle, and Erin Graybill; brothers, Wayne Wright and Marshall McCreary; sisters, Sabrina McCreary and Amber Wright; grandmother, Peggy Inge; his loyal and bonded fur buddy, Cooper; and numerous other family members and friends.

Anthony will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and all the people who cared about him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider making a donation to the American Heart Association in Anthony's memory.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Chapel, Bedford, with Jared Tucker officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Home, Bedford.
