Angus Daniel Wright, Jr.

Angus Daniel "Dan" Wright Jr., 58, of Lynchburg, Va. passed away on April 6, 2026, at his home.

He was born August 30, 1967, in Lynchburg, Va., He was the only child of the late Angus Daniel "Speedy" Wright, Sr. and Marian Odell Carr Wright of Rustburg, Va.

He attended Rustburg High School and had a love for drawing.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert Edward "Ed" and Elsie West Carr of Rustburg Va, and a special friend, Phyllis L. Swain of Lynchburg Va.

He is survived by an uncle, Larry W. Carr of Hurt Va, two cousins, Tina C. Ramsey of Gladys Va, and Tamara C. Coffey of Hurt Va., a good friend, Karen Fortune and his many neighbors.

He has requested to be cremated. His cremains will be placed with his mother, Marian, at Virginia Memorial Park at a later date.
