Angela Carleen Whitehead

Angela Carleen Whitehead known to many s “Angie”. Departed this life on October 29, 2025. She was born to the late Calvin Whitehead and her mother Sara Whitehead. She is proceeded in death by her sister Rhonda Whitehead Robinson and brother-in-law Anthony Robinson.

She was a free-spirited person who loved the beach and shopping. She was a die-hard Washington Commanders fan.

She is survived by her children, Michelle (Jose) Villasana, Brittney (Shawn) Mitchell, and Christina Whitehead. Her loving grandchildren Hayden Whitehead, Mia Lopez, Trinity Donovan, Domanic Mitchell and Aaliyah Obuchowski. Her brother James Whitehead and Thomas (Tasha) Whitehead, and her sisters Ann(Carnell)Lewis, Patty Hogue and her Devoted friend Mark Woodall, and a host of family and friends.

I’m Free

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free.

I’m following the path God laid for me.

I took His hand when I heard him call;

I turned my back and left it all.

I could not stay another day

To laugh, to love, to work or play.

Tasks left undone must stay that way.

I found my place at the close of day.

If my parting has left a void.

Then fill it with remembered joys,

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss.

Ah yes, these things I shall to miss.

But not burdened with times of sorrow.

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life has been full, I survived much.

Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.

Perhaps my life seemed all too brief:

Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.

Lift up your heart and share with me.
