Andrea Devitt Whiting, 75, of Evington, formerly of Chapel Hill, N.C., died Sunday June 1, 2014.
Andrea was born October 2, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania a daughter of the late William Devitt and the late Doris Stephenson Devitt. Andrea worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill, NC and was a parishioner of St. Andrews Catholic Church in Apex, NC.
She is survived by her daughter Elizabeth Howie of Greensboro, NC, two sons: James H. Whiting and his wife Lana of Jamesville, NC and Thomas S. Whiting of Washington, D.C., a brother Darryl Devitt of Modesto, CA, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial funeral mass for Andrea will be held at a later date.
