Allison Wood Hogan

Allison Wood Hogan passed away on February 27, 2026. Born in Albany, Georgia, she was the daughter of Mary F. DeWitt and the late Curtis D. Wood.

Allison was a proud graduate of the Brookville High School Class of 1976. She earned a B.A. and M.E. from Lynchburg College and retired from Bedford County Public Schools with 40 years of service.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Terry W. Hogan, her daughters Lindsay Hogan, Mandi Green, and Carly Epperson, as well as 7 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Tharp Funeral Home in Lynchburg.
