Albert Lee Paige, Sr.

Mr. Albert Lee Paige, Sr. “Butch departed this life Thursday, January 1, 2026. He was a quiet, soft spoken, meticulous very private person who loved and lived life his way. 

He was the son of the late Clement Stevens and Dorothy Paige Bolding. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his grandfather William Andrew Paige, his grandmother Gracie N. Paige, one uncle William A. Paige, Jr. and two lifelong friends Ronnie Hall and Aubrey Barbour, Sr.

Albert was a member of the Dunbar High School class of 1968, and served his country in the United States Army. He was formerly employed by UPS, CVTC, Applied Radiant Energy and Liberty University. His favorite hobbies were football, chess, fishing, singing, and sports of any kind.

He is survived by his children Adrian King (Joi), Gwendolyn Paige Banks (Rodney), Albert Paige, Jr. (Kathleen), Jeffrey Hamilton (Katie), and Patrick Oneil (Amanda), ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by special friends Beverly Thomas (Lendon), Joy Anderson (life partner), Kathleen Hamilton, and George Leon Hopkins “Bo” (a wonderful neighbor who did a lot for him). 

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
