Marla Meek is a native of Ohio and has been a funeral director with Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory since fall of 2008. She is a funeral service licensee in both Virginia and West Virginia and has been a resident of the Lynchburg community since 1983.
She holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Mortuary Science, Cum Laude, from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Liberty University.
Marla is a member of Kiwanis, Rivermont Evangelical Presbyterian Church, where she sings in the choir, and a volunteer with Gentle Shepherd Hospice.
In her spare time she enjoys walking, strength training, biking, baking, reading and spending time with her grown son, Aaron.
